POWEROBIX
is the working person's exercise routine. It's getting down
to business when it comes to getting fit. It's everything
you've come to expect in an aerobic workout, delivered in
a refreshingly new and powerful format.
Powerobix
is a low impact/plyometric group fitness routine adapted
from the Reebok Power Step format - without the step. Target
cardiovascular levels are achieved using music tempos typical
for a Hi-Low or Sports Conditioning class. Muscle strengthening
is achieved through the plyometric leg movement and focused
use of the arms and strict placement of the torso. The whole
routine is built upon familiar foot patterns, combined in
ways throughout the routine to raise the intensity over progressive
intervals. Healthy doses of repeated motions ensure that
every major muscle group is brought to the point of failure.
At the end, you'll feel like you've lifted weights, run ten
miles, stretched, and meditated - all in a single hour.
Kent Roller
is meticulous with his
instructions and infectious with his energy. He doesn't just
show you what to move, but how to move it. With 20 years
of experience in the field, Kent knows the old school moves
as well as the new. He breaks down the choreography, then
puts it back together in increasing layers of complexity.
If he loses anyone, he breaks it down on the fly, then comes
right back to the combinations, satisfying both beginning
and advanced students. The result is that you feel like you're
leading yourself, not just following along.
Music
is vital to a great aerobic routine. As a former DJ,
Kent has access to today's most progressive and energetic
artists, and he knows how to use the music. The mega-beat
rhythms of Goa and Psy Trance will treat your ears to an
intense sonic experience equal to the physical intensity
of the class. Each 35 minute aerobic set and 15 minute floor-work
set is custom-mixed by Kent himself. It starts off strong
and gets progressively stronger, culminating in a breathless
state of elation and excitement.
